What: RANGE is a one-day academic conference featuring presentations and activities about geography! The goal of the conference is to give you a sense of the research and career possibilities within geography.Where: SFU BurnabyWhen: February 22, 2025 from 11:30AM-5:00PMWhy come?
(1) Learn about the breadth and richness of geography through research talks and activities. Potential topics include fieldwork in geography, urban politics and gentrification, climate action, how to make a map, conservation work, and much more!
(2) Meet other students, researchers, and professionals in geography or geography-related fields.
(3) Lunch and snacks will be provided throughout the day!Cost: The registration fee is $10 (paid at time of registration). However, if this poses a barrier to you, you are welcome to email [email protected] to request a fee waiver. You do not need to provide a reason for why you are requesting a waiver.

This conference is open to all students, but is best suited for high school students and undergraduates in the early years of their degree.
